Kuon is a young history student at the Shinano Academy. Kuon means eternity, so her full name can be read as time is eternity or time is eternal. Of a cheerful and motivated temperamente, he positive aura attracts people easily, but few are able to put up with her antics long-term. Yet those who do and learn to understand her and love her stick with her for life.

Kuon loves history and folklore with all her heart, so she enjoys meeting new people and learning their beliefs and about the folk wisdom of Shinano. Sometimes it's easier to learn all that from books, so when she's done with her daily duties at the Academy, it's common to see her in the Shinano library (at the cultural center) reading multiple books with a dreamy expression.

Both her parents work at the cultural center: her father is the head librarian and her mother is an assistant at the museum. One wonders whether it was possible for Kuon not to turn out the way she did with that family of hers.

She loves all things that measure time. She carries a very pretty pocket watch in a pocket of her skirt that she looks at often, giving people the impression that she's always in a hurry, although that's not the case, or so she says. She regularly visits a shop that sells and repairs watches owned by a friend's family just to look and marvel at the inventory, because she doesn't have the money to buy any. Time is not that important when she's having fun with friends, of course.

She's very sensitive to the cold, so she wears winter clothes almost year-round, even if it's blazing hot outside! Her pink hat is her favorite, and she doesn't care if it makes her look dorky as long as it keeps her warm and protected from "low" temperatures.

Her alter-ego is Memory, the magical warrior of time and remembrance. Although she defeated her adversary a long time ago and is retired from active duty, she keeps her powers and uses them discreetly to investigate and, if necessary, to combat any anomalies that might threaten the town. Kuon can only use her magic while transformed, which she can do at any time by activating her watch.

Appearance

Her clothes are inspired by the fashion of the 70s. She wears a pink sleeveless sweater with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath, a pink skirt, and a brown belt. She wears white boots and dark pink tights. She sports a massive pink beanie that she's never seen without, so nobody (who hasn't spotted Memory) knows what the top of her head looks like.
